Luke Abrahams Memorial Trophy: 24.06.23
A fantastic turnout and a very moving occasion. Thank you to all the players, supporters, friends and family who joined us to celebrate the life of Luke Abrahams, a former Roade FC player whose life was cut short so suddenly earlier in the year.
Junior Football Tournament: 10.06.23 - 11.06.23
Our sixth youth football tournament was held over the weekend of 10th & 11th June. Probably the busiest yet and with the fine weather there was a really good atmosphere on both days. Thanks for all the feedback and hopefully we'll be hosting another one next year!

We hosted our fifth youth football tournament over the weekend of 16th & 17th July. It was a highly enjoyable weekend of football. We thank all the clubs and families that supported the event and value your feedback.
The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebration: 04.06.22

ABBA Tribute Duo - Honey Honey: 13.11.21
A brilliant night of ABBA classics performed superbly by Honey Honey. Thank you ladies and hope to see you back at Roade FC again.
Halloween Pumpkin Hunt & Disco: 31.10.21
A fantastic turnout with around 70 children enjoying the hunt for pumpkins, followed by hot dogs and a Halloween-themed disco. Hope to see everyone again next year.

Our local favourite, Spike Milligan, hosted another awesome Quiz Night - this time covering general knowledge from each decade - 1960s to the present. Thank you Spike!
Annual Fireworks Display: 01.11.19
Our annual fireworks night was once again very well supported by the local community and it was great to hear so many positive comments about the fireworks, live music, funfair and the event as a whole. Thank you to Kevin and the team for setting off the fireworks which were amazing once again.
Pumpkin Hunt & Halloween Party: 27.10.19
Another great turnout for the Pumpkin Hunt and Halloween Party with Brite Lites Disco. Hope to see everyone again next year.

80s Disco with Brite Lites: 06.07.19
It was a very enjoyable evening on Saturday 6th July 2019 as members and friends danced to the many classics from the 80s. Thank you to Brite Lites once again for putting on another fabulous disco.
Grand Opening of New Changing Room Pavilion: 29.06.19

Thank you to everyone who turned up for the Grand Opening of the New Changing Room Pavilion on Saturday 29th June 2019. It was a memorable and significant occasion in the history of the club, marking the single biggest investment in our facilities for many decades. The Rt Hon. Andrea Leadsom MP, who carried out the official opening, was very impressed with the state-of-the-art features provided by the new building, having started her tour with a look at the old and cramped changing room area within the clubhouse. The Millwall FC football professional, Steve Morrison, also attended the Grand Opening and was equally full of praise for the quality of the new changing rooms and the contribution of Roade FC to the local community.

A massive thank you to everyone who participated in our Youth Football Tournament over the weekend of 8th/9th June 2019. It was great to see so many players and spectators clearly enjoying the occasion.
Quiz Night: 27.04.19
Danny returned to host another superb quiz night on Saturday 27th April 2019. It was a highly enjoyable evening with another good turnout. Hopefully, another quiz night will take place later in the year.

Christmas Draw & Live Music by London Roade: 15.12.18
There was an excellent turn out on Saturday 15th December 2018 for our Christmas Draw and live music event. The five-piece band, London Roade, provided fantastic entertainment which was enjoyed by everyone. The draw took place at the mid-point of the evening. The 1st prize of £500 cash was won, appropriately enough, by the 1st Team captain! Lots of other prizes were won and all winners will be contacted to arrange collection. A big thank you goes to Alan Goody for his sterling efforts in organising the Christmas Draw. The event has helped to raise around £2,500 in support of the club's new facilities.
Children's Christmas Party & Disco: 08.12.18
We held our Children's Christmas Party with Brite Lites Disco on Saturday 8th December 2018. It was lots of fun as always. Thank you to all those who attended.

Our Halloween event took place on Sunday 28th October, beginning with a Pumpkin Hunt around the football club fields, followed by the amazing Brite Lites Disco and food. It was great fun and well supported. Thank you to everyone who attended.

Roade FC Six-a-side Tournament: 09.06.18 - 10.06.18We hosted our third six-a-side tournament, sponsored by Heavenly Desserts, over the weekend of 9th & 10th June 2018. Easter Egg Hunt 30.03.18

Despite the wet weather there was a fantastic response to our special Easter Egg Hunt, with more than 100 children taking part. Everyone found the clues left behind by the Easter Bunny, so there was plenty of chocolate to eat, followed by more fun and entertainment from Terry Gaffee and his Brite Lites Disco, including party games and hot dogs. A special thank you to Nick Powell for organising what was a thoroughly enjoyable event.
