Roade FC provides coaching for many age groups - Under 6s to adults - and have teams registered with the local leagues from Under 7s upwards. New players are invited to join the midweek training sessions. We are also an SSE Wildcats Centre - providing football training for girls aged 5-11. Everyone is welcome to come and watch the Junior and Adult football teams compete on Saturdays and Sundays and/or watch the big screen televised football inside the clubhouse from Sky Sports, BBC & ITV.
Annual social membership is £10 (includes family members) and new members are very welcome. The social membership year runs from 1st January and can be paid by cash at the bar or via the PayPal QR code that is on display at the club. Members benefit from promotional pricing on drinks and food, and membership can be purchased at the time of visit. A guest fee of £2 will apply to non-members; this fee will be waived for spectators, visiting players and match officials during matches and for 90 minutes after the end of matches.

We are open on Wednesday and Friday evenings from 7.00pm. Bingo takes place every Friday at 8.00pm. The clubhouse bar is also open from 12.30pm on Saturday match days (4.00pm if no Roade FC matches are taking place) and from 4.00pm on Sundays, and will remain open into the evening while there is sufficient demand.
We also have our halfway line snack bar serving fresh coffee and a wide selection of hot & cold food. This is open most mornings and afternoons when Roade FC matches are taking place.
We have been investing in our bar facilities, in collaboration with the brewery. This has seen improvements to the cellar and bar area, including the installation of Heineken’s ‘SmartDispense’ unique cooling system that is energy-efficient and ensures that the optimum 3°C in-glass temperature for beer and cider is achieved without liquid wastage.

Roade FC is delighted to announce that the club has signed a major sponsorship deal with Gigaclear who build and operate the UK’s largest, exclusively rural, fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) network, and which now serves Roade and neighbouring villages. Gigaclear are sponsoring the “player of the match” medals for our U11, U10 and U9 Junior Teams. The clubhouse main bar & lounge and/or small bar will be open with the big screens showing televised football & other sporting action on Sky Sports, BBC & ITV every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Roade FC Clubhouse Appeal:
The renovation of the clubhouse has recently commenced but further funding is required to complete the project which will include a new meeting room/function room, new mini-bar and upgraded toilet facilities. Once finished, the improvements will increase the appeal of the clubhouse to a wider audience, adding more usable space for social use (meetings and functions) and income generation. The improvements will also reduce the costs of heating, while security enhancements (comprehensive CCTV) will keep insurance premiums lower.
Donations or help with fundraising for the renovation of the clubhouse and outside facilities will be much appreciated.
